soundtope is our technology for automatic soundscape generation. It creates music and environmental sounds in real time, adapting to individual preferences and external factors.
Designed for both shared environments (offices, lobbies, and malls) and personal use for focus, relaxation, productivity, or creativity, the audio from soundtope evolves naturally according to time of day, season, weather, location, and overall surrounding atmosphere. Its multichannel output ensures flexible yet consistent audio distribution across multiple areas.
Sound gets automatically generated 24 hours a day, 365 days a year in order to create a soothing atmosphere, providing soundscapes that adapt in real time to the situation via sensor data, with continuous, evolving audio.
Installation setups
Wide range of implementation scenarios: multiple configurations available to easily adapt to different of environments. A versatile system, suitable for applications such as digital signage, architectural acoustics, web services and more.
To this date, the system has been installed in offices, museums, entertainment venues and retail spaces. Audio can be played in public spaces without copyright concerns: unlike existing tunes, the implemented audio is unique and gets automatically generated.

omnion (ku-kan instrument) is our spatial audio solution: an original technology that synchronizes multiple smartphones and speakers with precision.
It offers a compact and flexible sound system ideal for shops and public spaces, enabling easy management of multi-speaker setups for 3D spatial audio. With intuitive wireless controls, omnion allows seamless reproduction of sound across wide indoor and outdoor areas.
Smartphones and speakers synchronize with high precision, enabling a variety of experiences such as ensemble performances, sound experiments, and musical puzzles.
In ensemble mode, for instance, each smartphone is assigned a different instrument—piano, trumpet, violin, and more—all playing together in perfect sync, transforming the group into an orchestra.
We have a proven track record of delivering multi-channel speaker systems for outdoor use. We can provide durable systems that meet requirements for heat, dust and rain resistance.

sonicwalk delivers a new kind of musical experience that seamlessly adapts to its surroundings.
It revitalizes locations and attracts visitors through immersive, sound-based art events, while also supporting technology-driven walking tours and interactive experiences. By creating engaging content that teaches people about local culture and providing information related to tourism, disaster prevention, and community welfare, sonicwalk connects people and places through sound.
After launching the app and putting on headphones, users can experience XR Audio by walking to locations points marked on the map with flashing indicators, like invisible speakers.
• Possible to experience from smartphone’s browser: sound shifts as the user moves, responding to location and direction.
• Creating immersive, location-based soundscapes by placing imaginary sounds across the map.
A smartphone app that automatically detects, cuts and rearranges parts of a video in order to turn it into a drum beat.
A smartphone and tablet app that lets you create your own virtual cafe by combining various sounds, voices, and ambient noises to play your favorite sounds.
It turns out humans actually find it easier to concentrate with a moderate amount of background noise. Listening to sounds you enjoy can also boost your motivation. Sometimes background music can actually make it hard to focus. Enjoy it while studying at home, working remotely, or doing nomad work! It's also fun to create a cafe with interesting sounds that don't exist in this world!

To the “Forest of Sounds” played by skyscrapers
As you stroll through the towering skyscrapers lining Nishi-Shinjuku, point your smartphone camera at the buildings and each one begins to play music. An “XR sound experience” that lets you rediscover the charm of familiar buildings and streets.
A Stroll Woven from "Sound × Body × Scenery"
This experience invites you to explore various "sound objects" placed throughout the virtual space of Nishi-Shinjuku, enjoying how the sounds they produce blend with the real-world scenery. The way the sounds are heard changes depending on the participant's position and distance, overlapping with the landscape unfolding before them.
Creating New Business Opportunities Through Sound Design Solutions
Our business proposal for a new music environment utilizing Toshiba Corporation's "SoundimensionTM" software was selected for implementation. At the same time, we proposed diverse ways of hearing sound using "Virtual Sound Image" technology, which can stream different sounds from multiple directions, and "Sound Field Control" technology, which allows audible sound to be controlled by area. We performed volume control using audio sources actually produced and recorded by coton, providing this as an example of the solution.
Creating a well-being office where you can choose the sound environment that suits you
Focusing on improving office sound environments, we developed pleasant music for the workplace. We divided the office into four distinct areas, each offering a different type of sound environment. In today's era of diverse office layouts, where the ideal soundscape varies by area, we aimed to provide the best possible sound environment by actively listening to feedback from our workers.
Rediscover Nishi-shinjuku's Hidden Gems
Using on-screen guides and audio cues, uncover the city's hidden treasures. Use visual and auditory clues to pinpoint their locations, find a treasure and claim an item! Nishi-shinjuku's sculptures serve as hidden gems: uncover them to learn their stories.
Experience "Instruments of the City" by numerous artists
Through virtual sound objects placed on the map by artists, we've created a new walking experience that enhances the city with sound.
Total Sound Design Support Service for Automobiles
As the adoption of electric vehicles accelerates, a new form of automotive sound design is now required. We propose a new support service that integrates engineering expertise, such as measurement, simulation, and analysis technologies, with the intuitive insights of music specialists, incorporating music theory and psychology.
Researching the effects of Interactive Art on Well-being
Using the interactive, participatory media art piece “Bubbles” (hybrid shadow play), which involves physical engagement, we verified the effects of art on well-being. We confirmed that the presence of music within the artwork increased psychologically positive scores, demonstrating the potential effects of experiential media art on movement, motivation, and communication. Moving forward, we are also advancing research into whether interactive art can function as a cultural prescription, such as in movement therapy for children with illnesses.
Analyzing changes in brain waves induced by sound through machine learning to aid in the early detection of early-onset dementia
We verified the effectiveness of auditory stimuli when using machine learning analysis of brain waves to analyze digital neurobiomarkers for early-onset dementia. By employing spatial auditory stimuli (soundtope), we aim to detect changes in cognitive function and identify objective indicators using machine learning. This proposes a novel method for monitoring brain health and enabling early dementia intervention.
